The kids enjoy nomming them as they walk about the yard, but I had other plans:
I made pear chutney using this recipe as inspiration...
Some spiced pear jam using this as a jumping off point (I added some minced candied ginger), and a standard reduced-sugar pear jam.
Of course, none of this even begins to touch the rhubarb I still have to deal with from this Spring, but
So many pies...
